
OGP Contract for Electricity Supply
There is a central arrangement for electricity supply established by the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) that allows schools to secure a long-term contract with favourable rates and price protection.
Schools that are already on the OGP contract:
The current contract expires on 30th April 2027, and the new 36-month contract will run from 1st May 2027.
Your school will be issued a new contract from the OGP in September. It will have to be signed and returned to the email address supplied in the received communication.

How to join this contract:
Confirm with your current provider if you are in contract
If you are in contract check when it expires as early exit charges may apply
Complete the form below using your school’s email address. Please, include scanned copies of both sides of your school’s most recent electricity bill.
Note: If your application to join the OGP contract is related to a new school build or a new extension, please provide a copy of the ESB Network Agreement for the new meter with your registration.
Note: If your school has more than one meter, please complete registration form above for each MPRN separately.
What happens next:
Once the registration form is received and reviewed by the OGP, you will be sent an offer of a contract detailing the tariff rates available to you.
If you accept the offer of this new contract, please complete the accompanying paperwork with the contract offer and return it to the email address supplied in the contract documentation as soon as possible.
