Central Arrangements

See central arrangements such as Frameworks and Dynamic Purchasing Systems that schools can avail of.

It is Government policy that public bodies, where possible, should make use of all central arrangements (Circular 16/2013).

The benefits arising from these frameworks include cash savings; administrative savings from reduced duplication of tendering; greater purchasing expertise; improved consistency; enhanced service levels and legal certainty.

Central Arrangements can be established by way of a Framework Agreement or a Dynamic Purchase System (DPS).
