Covid-19 Supply Suspension Due to Temporary Closure Scheme
This a scheme being introduced by the CRU after consultations with the grid providers ESBN, EirGrid and GNI along with the Energy Suppliers (electricity and natural gas) which is looking to provide support to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and their Energy Suppliers in managing the costs associated with their energy supply if they are non-operational as a result of Covid-19. The scheme will be open to applications from the 1st May 2020 and will be in place for a maximum 90 days. It is up to each individual Client/Customer to contact their Energy Supplier and complete the application form and return it to their Energy Supplier for processing.
